Tania DeGregorio

Hello friend!

A little about me…

Raised in Austin, I’ve built a career at the intersection of live music, hospitality, travel, and creative production. At 23, I became a venue and bar manager with Direct Events, working at La Zona Rosa, Austin Music Hall, and The Backyard for over 13 years.

I later managed venues including Antone’s, Circuit of the Americas, ACL Live, and House of Blues, while supporting hundreds of SXSW productions. I also helped open Lambert’s and Frank, developing specialty drink menus and managing front-of-house operations. After more than 30 years in Austin’s hospitality and music communities, I enjoy connecting filmmakers, producers, and creative teams with the right venues.

Travel has been a lifelong passion. At 22, I backpacked solo through Central and South America for six months and have continued exploring solo, with my son, and with close friends. From Kyoto onsens and Himalayan hikes to Día de los Muertos in Oaxaca and sunsets in Porto, travel has deepened my curiosity and connection to the world.

In 2020, while homeschooling my son through Covid, I co-founded St. Cecilia Soda Company, an organic flavored sparkling-water brand now sold at Central Market, Austin-Bergstrom International Airport, and beyond.

Tania is a member for the Health Alliance for Austin Musicians, The Les Dames D'Escoffier- Austin Chapter, The American Red Cross - Central Texas Chapter, The Nature Conservancy and on the Gala Board for the beloved Paramount Theater. She spear-headed and put on both Women's Marches & Impeachment Marches 2017 & 2019 in Austin,TX.

As part of her volunteer work, she has put on fundraising events and volunteered for the American Red Cross, read to children at Dell Children’s Hospital, and is a supporter of HAAM, Meals on Wheels & Big Brothers Big Sisters.
